Our Mission Statement
 

The Santa Rosa County Horse Assistance Council was founded by horse owners who believe that working together (owners and county agencies) we can improve upon the welfare of the nearly 14,000 horses in Santa Rosa County, FL.

“Neighbor-Helping-Neighbor” Policy
*  Provide access to county food bank for horses
*  To assist horse owners in emergency situations
*  First responder services after disasters

Assist Horse Owners
*  Provide information, resources and support which horse owners need to keep their  horses healthy through:
*  Educational Seminars
*  Hands-On-Training Programs
*  Low-Cost Castration Clinics

Support for SRCAS
*  To provide sanctuary for mistreated, abandoned or neglected horses through foster care while new loving homes are found for them by:
*  Assisting with locating foster homes
*  Assisting with expenses for foster horses
*  Assisting foster home providers
*  Providing liaison services for reporting horse
